Good Vibes is a musical treat for the eyes and ears -- a drive down memory lane, a visit back through the decades. I wondered how in the world they took those clothes out of my high school closet. An evening of melodies and harmonies that stir the memories of your soul and bring delight to the present! Enjoy every shahnanana, every wo-oh-oh-oh!
Well, for my husband and me the show last fall it was nostalgia. And for our 19 and 12 year olds, who actually love music from "our" era - they loved it too. Everyone happy! Can't beat that.
All I can say is you will love it ! Oh the memories !!!
Rock and Roll out the 60's and 70's...... Love it Love it Love it
My wife and I just went Friday night and we loved it. It brought back some excellent memories. The artists are so friendly, they will wait around and sign autographs for everyone. The salute to the troops is excellent too. Just go see the show and tell them to put some more cowbell into it. Lol

♦Carolina Opry Christmas Special♦
The first nightly Christmas Special on the Grand Strand -- and still the grandest of them all. The Carolina Opry has been a family tradition for 24 years, bringing the spirit of Christmas to life with music, comedy and dance. As one patron said, "I feel like I glow when I walk out."
This Holiday Season, Calvin Gilmore is pulling out all the stops to bring you the Silver Anniversary of The Carolina Opry Christmas Special. Highlights of the 2010 season include the much-awaited return of renowned baritone, Moses Braxton and everyone's favorite featured pianist, Rocky Fretz.
Moses Braxton, with his rich baritone reminiscent of such great artists as Barry White and Lou Rawls, returns from a four-year absence. But he won't be here for long -- the 2010 Christmas Special will be a rare opportunity to see this popular artist live in Myrtle Beach.
Also in store this season -- multi-million dollar color laser lighting; a live horse and sleigh; the Grinch, at his Grinchiest; all new dance numbers from hotter-than-hot dance group All That, featured on network television; stunning new costumes; and, of course, the grand finale, "He's Alive," which is performed by crowd-favorite Rita Gumm and never fails to bring the audience to its feet.
The Carolina Opry Christmas Special will reach an unprecedented milestone when it begins its 25th season on November 1, 2010 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Calvin Gilmore was the first to bring live Christmas entertainment to Myrtle Beach 24 years ago and has been instrumental in building the Christmas industry at the beach as we know it. Today, The Carolina Opry Christmas Special is a family tradition for hundreds of thousands of families throughout the South and beyond, and has been running longer than any show in Broadway history.
Award winning producer, director and performer Calvin Gilmore said recently, "Right now, families and groups need uplifting entertainment more than ever before. This year it's pure magic. The most amazing, funny, warm and wonderful show we have ever put together."
Christmas begins at The Carolina Opry. Often imitated, but never equaled, it remains The South's most loved holiday show; blending beloved classics with great new favorites, all bound together by fresh comedy and breathtaking dance. Come home to The Carolina Opry for Christmas. It's warm, it's funny, it's shamelessly sentimental, and your family is going to love it more than ever! The Carolina Opry is the only show that has won every major South Carolina Tourism award including the Governor's Cup and most Outstanding Attraction. It is the only show that has been featured by NBC Nightly News, USA Today, CNN, Variety and Hollywood Reporter.
The Carolina Opry Christmas Special runs from November 1, 2010 through January 1, 2011, with regular evening performances and selectively scheduled matinees.
